FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All applicants to Olivet Theological College & Seminary should evidence strong a Christian character, potential for effectiveness in Christian ministry, and the scholastic ability and emotional maturity to handle a higher education experience.

Applicants must submit at least three recommendation letters. One letter must be a reference from a World Olivet Assembly (WOA) church pastor who is knowledgeable about the applicant’s church involvement. The other two recommendations should come from someone who is able to comment on your professional and educational goals and potential. This could be a professor or supervisor. Recommendations may not be from a member of your immediate family or your spouse.

Bachelor of Arts – $242 per unit
Master of Divinity – $278 per unit

Olivet Theological College & Seminary welcomes applications from students seeking to transfer from other accredited colleges and universities. Applicants should have an official transcript from each transfer institution mailed directly to the Office of the University Registrar by the transfer institution and fill in Transfer Credit Request Form and attach a course description or syllabus for every transfer course.

Olivet Theological College & Seminary welcomes international students who wish to pursue a degree program at Olivet Theological College & Seminary.

Admitted students are given the opportunity to submit prior coursework for consideration for advanced standing prior to the beginning of their first academic year. Typically, advanced standing does not reduce total credit hour requirements but allows students with significant academic work in a particular field to place out of introductory-level courses.
