Orlando Campus announces the launch of its Christian Philosophy course, which will be offered as a hybrid class starting in the Fall semester of 2024. Faculty members are looking forward to offering a deeper exploration of Christian philosophical traditions in an interactive learning environment.

Christian philosophy overlaps with traditional Christian theology, but their methodology is different. Philosophy and theology have influenced each other throughout history. This course will cover early Christian thinkers such as Augustine, who attempted to reconcile Greek philosophy with Christianity; medieval scholasticism, with Thomas Aquinas as a key figure, which integrated Aristotle’s philosophy into Christian theology; Enlightenment thinkers such as Kant and Schleiermacher, and Nietzsche and Kierkegaard, who shaped the development of theology in later times.
