On March 3, 2024, OTCS Orlando Campus attended the historic 20th Anniversary Service and Ceremony of Olivet University (OU). The event gathered over 300 school officials and students to give thanks and glory to God for leading the school ministry with unwavering grace.

The commemorative service began with a gracious opening prayer by Dr. Tom Cowley, Director of the Doctoral Ministry Program. Dr. Peter Tzeng, Chaplain and COO, delivered a sermon emphasizing the university’s mission to fulfill the Great Commission of global evangelization, based on Philippians 1:3-6. Dr. David Jang, the founder of OU, and Dr. Ralph D. Winters, former honorary chairman, consistently highlighted Olivet University’s vision and role as a lighthouse for spreading the Gospel beyond cultural and linguistic barriers. The service concluded with a benediction by Dr. Ray Tallman, wishing for Olivet to shine as a radiant university that illuminates the Gospel of Christ in the world.

The OTCS Orlando Campus also received abundant grace through Dr. Nathanael Tran, Chairman of Olivet University, leading the anniversary event and Dr. Matthias Gebhardt, the University President, speech. In the keynote speech, senior faculty member Dr. William Wagner emphasized the cooperation between senior faculty and the younger generation to fulfill the Great Commission. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the founders and respect to faculty for their sincere dedication, as well as to the graduates who have made outstanding contributions to the ministry.

OTCS Orlando Campus will dedicate its efforts to fulfill Olivet University’s mission of raising and equipping numerous leaders who can shine the light of Christ’s Gospel during this era of great revival, as global missions face remarkable transformation and expansions. Happy Birthday OU!
