“Olivet” Refers to the Mount of Olives

A historic site in ministry of Jesus named for the olive trees that covered its slopes. The emblems of Olivet – the olive tree and the oil from its fruit – represent the world of peace and eternity proclaimed by Jesus Christ. The hope for that world is embedded in Olivet Theological College & Seminary.


We offer courses of study in a variety of programs

B.A. Theology

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology undergraduate degree program offers four years of college-level training in critical and applied Biblical and theological studies.

Master of Divinity

The Master of Theology (Th.M.) is an extension program of Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program, designed to equip the students with competency and skills.

Master of Theology

The Master of Theology (Th.M.) is an extension program of Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program, designed to equip the students with scholarly competency and professional teaching skills.

Flagship M.Div. Program

In the Doctor of Ministry level, admitted candidates should already be involved and contributing significantly in Christian ministry.

Marketplace Ministry Concentration

The Olivet University Master of Divinity Marketplace Ministry Track trains future ministers in foundational competencies necessary to support businesses for church plants.

Church & Mission Concentration

This program trains future ministers in advanced competencies in preaching, contextualization, and utilization of social media in mission equipping them for the changing landscape of 21st-century ministry to the network generation.

Children's Ministry Concentration

Basic courses in growth & development, educational theory, curriculum design, and parents-community relations equip students with the tools needed to succeed in the concurrent children's ministry internships.

Prayer and Spirituality Concentration

The goal is preparing ministers and pastors for ministry with an emphasis on prayer, spirituality and the exercise of spiritual gifts. This allows firm understanding of biblical and historical roots of prayer and spirituality in Christianity.

Online Program

Olivet Theological College and Seminary provides a variety of online courses through the university’s online classroom. Nearly all of the degree programs offered by Olivet may be completed entirely through online courses.
